Water lettuce grows in rosettes on the water’s surface with thick, soft leaves that can reach 15 cm (6 in) in length. One rosette can reach a diameter of around 30 cm (12 in) and a height of 10cm (4 in).  Dense feathery roots extend up to 1 meter (39 in) below the surface of the water.

Easy to care for, very Hardy plant ideal for tropical tanks or ponds.
