By using this website you agree to the terms and conditions set down on this page and you should therefore read these conditions thoroughly before using this website or purchasing from it. East coast Koi reserve the right to revise these terms and conditions at any time as and when we see fit or need and by your use of our website you are bound therefore to any revisions made. We advise you to visit this page periodically to review the current terms and conditions you are bound to through your use of our website.

 

Sales and Transactions;

Sales and transactions made via our website or through our store that are processed through Paypal are done so with the security offered by Paypal and as such Paypal and East Coast Koi do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any third parties. We reserve the right to alter or amend prices and delivery costs at any time on the website which will not affect purchases already made where payment has been cleared. Where Live Koi are purchased from our website the cost is £40 per box and as such the customer will be required to pay the additional amount to their website purchase prior to shipping unless agreed with East Coast Koi.

We do not store or record delivery addresses – these are provided to use through transactions made through our website and are only used for the purpose for which they were provided.

 

East Coast Koi Koi do not accept any liability or responsibility for any losses caused by damaged or faulty products or items. East Coast Koi do not accept any liability or losses caused by delays in delivery or as a result of service provided by couriers or companies independent of East Coast Koi nor do we accept responsibility in the unlikely event that a delivery does not arrive involving third party contractors.

 

Delivery Policy;

All items and products are as far as possible thoroughly checked to ensure they leave our premises in excellent condition. We do not knowingly process products or items that leave our premises in a faulty or damaged condition. We advise customers however to check their purchases immediately on delivery to ensure that no damage has occurred in transit and any damage should be recorded as such on the delivery note to enable any discussions regarding this. If the delivery note has not been amended then East Coast Koi will assume that the damage was done after the product was delivered and thus accept no responsibility.

 

East coast Koi use Evri and Royal mail to post purchases of all items that are not live fish. East Coast Koi do not accept liability for any issues with the delivery companies, such as late delivery or loss of delivery. All claims for loss of delivery are to be taken between the customer (you) and the delivery company.

 

We post Live plants normally within 3-5 business days. This lead time allows us to send the best quality products and minimise the delivery time the plants will be out of the water. 

Fish foods are generally posted within 2-4 business days. This is dependant on time of the order and courier collection times.

 

 

Returns and Cancellations;

In the event that a customer of East Coast Koi wishes to return a product they are dissatisfied with, you should contact East Coast Koi (within 14 days of the item being purchased). Contact must take place before the return. Contact can be made via email, Once a return has been agreed the return must be returned within 14 days of the customer receiving the goods unless otherwise agreed by East Coast Koi. Any customer wishing to return a product later than 14 days should discuss this with East Coast Koi and may be returned at East Coast Koi’s discretion where agreement has taken place.

A purchase can be cancelled any time up until the point of shipping at which point East Coast Koi cannot cancel an order, however cancelled orders will be subject to a 10% charge which will be deducted from the total refunded to the customer. Goods cannot be returned for credit.

Unless agreed upon by East Coast Koi, shipping back to East Coast Koi will be the responsibility of the customer (you). Any Products returned must be in the same condition as when sent out, only after inspection will any refund be made.
